J146 FOUNDATION EXISTS TO PROVIDE A VENUE, EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING, AND GUIDED OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT NONPROFITS ASSISTING SURVIVORS OF TRAUMA. IT IS A SAFE PLACE IN A BROKEN WORLD THAT PROVIDES THE SPACE, RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR HOPE, HEALING, AND RENEWAL.
Operating on the spectacular 1,800 acre Lorrayne Ranch, we work with our partners to support sex trafficking survivors, foster family respite, veterans, first responders, cancer survivors and others in a collaborative effort to RESTORE what was BROKEN and EMPOWER what REMAINS.
Our collaboration with Lorrayne Ranch is the “fuel” to the work that we do. They graciously have given us exclusive access to their 1,800 acre ranch, facilities, and horses for our equine assisted learning and outdoor programs. Our relationship with Lorrayne Ranch is only able to happen through the blessing of your donations. Your generous donations help us continue the healing work that we do.

We believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Rather, this journey is unique for each person—especially as we take steps toward goals and work through trauma. We intentionally seek collaborative partners to create unique and impactful experiences for each person that comes to the ranch. Our various program activities include Equine Assisted Learning, trauma therapy, outdoor recreation and education, ranch/life skills, and more.

Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Lorrayne Ranch provides a serene and safe place for people to engage, heal, learn, and discover themselves again. The combination of intentional programming and picturesque landscapes create a safe, healing experience like no other and fosters hope and renewal. Our crisp mountain air, gorgeous views, and serene spaces give our participants an opportunity to rest, connect, and heal.
THE RANCH
The J146 Foundation is dedicated to using the land to “restore what was broken and empower what remains.” Along with the various programs and activities offered, healing and connection also happen organically. This may occur when exploring the scenic landscape, interacting with the array of horses and ranch animals, or taking in the sunset or star-filled skies. Many times, experiences find us when we’re open to them and take the opportunity to take them in.
